FLYING AND SWIMMING DAN GEMMELL Dan Gemmell rips! The kid from TA has as much talent as can possibly fit into his little, light-footed frame. This front 1 is gigantic, & if the gap & horizontally laid decking landing zone isn't gnar enough for ya, check the run out! He even managed to keep his board dry - although his shoes got pretty wet. ALEX DIVES BIG DAY OUT AT AKL The Auckland Surfing Champs where held at Piha beach on Saturday. Alex won the Juniors & placed 2nd in the Open. According to Alex the surf was kinda pumping 3-4ft Piha bar & was super good for a contest. He surfed a total of 8 heats through the day & by the semi's it was non-stop back-to-back action. Alex's hard out training regime really proved its worth! |

LUKE ASHMAN'S MEXICO HANDYCAM FOOTAGE Luke Ashman recently got back from 3 months in Mexico. He had the time of his life getting barreled, drinking Coronas and soaking up the local culture. He met a crazy Mexican midget called Raoul who he convinced to film a few surf sessions. Unfortunately Raoul doesn't have the steadiest hand and would often get distracted filming 10% surfing and 90% girls on the beach, but he was probably just following instructions from Luke.
